Among the many attractions at the American Numismatic Association’s World’s Fair of Money in Chicago will be the Numismatic Literary Guild Symposium. The planners of that event have created “The Great Ones” — a program given by Larry Stack, Harvey Stack, and Q. David Bowers — the last being one of the best-known Whitman authors.
They will discuss the great collectors they have met, the great collections and rarities they have handled, and their experiences dating back many years. Come and hear interesting narrative, anecdotes, and, we are sure, some unexpected things! A question and answer session will follow.
The symposium is on Thursday, August 7, from 10-11:30 a.m. The moderator will be Christine Karstedt.
