Stack’s Bowers is the official auctioneer of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Spring Expo, being held the last week of March, in Baltimore, Maryland. Lot viewing will begin on Tuesday, March 29 at 9:00AM in room 307 of the Convention Center and continue through Friday, April 1 from 9AM-7PM, and then on Saturday, April 2 from 9AM-Noon.
We kick off our busy auction session schedule on Wednesday, March 30 at 1PM in room 308 with session 1 of the Twin Leaf Collection Part II, and continue with session 2 of the Twin Leaf Collection Part II at 6:00PM. Thursday begin with Session 3, comprising medals, tokens, colonial coins and half cents through two-cent pieces at 10AM.
At 5:00PM on Thursday night, our U.S. Currency session will cross the block in room 309 and our Rarities Night tradition continues in room 308, also beginning at 5:00PM. Immediately following the conclusion of Rarities Night, our offering of U.S. gold coins will commence.
We start again on Friday morning at 10AM in Room 308 with silver three-cent pieces through quarters, commemoratives, patterns, errors and other items of interest. On Friday evening, we conclude our Showcase auction sessions with half dollars and silver dollars beginning at 5:00PM.
