As the new Manager for
our flagship store in New York, it is my goal to bring back the environment
that many of our long time customers enjoyed when they came to Stacks.
Coin collecting has evolved over the years, and while many of these changes
have been great for our hobby, others leave us feeling empty. I want to
find a good balance between the old fashioned coin shop with loads of inventory
and interesting items to look at, discuss, and hopefully purchase, and the
modern technological environment where most coins are sold on line. There
is a way to accomplish this, and over time we will move in this
direction.
We have already started
to make significant changes so stop in and say hello, whenever you are in
town. Share your thoughts and let me know what you want the store to be
to you. I am always open to ideas and suggestions. Let’s keep what
we like, bring back what we miss, and move forward as the best coin store in
America.
