Brian’s Rare Coin Market Report and Outlook September 28, 2017

Coming out of this summer’s ANA I reported that the market was alive and well.  Astute collectors have recognized this and as a result we are pleased to be preparing our most exciting Winter Baltimore Auction of the past five years. Anchoring this important event is a number of significant consignments, including the Cardinal Collection Educational Foundation, Alexander Collection, Murray Hill Collection, Frog Run Farm Collection Part IV, Twin Leaf Collection Part IV, Catherine Bullowa Moore Collection and duplicates from the Syd Martin Collection. Additionally we are happy to be presenting individual five and six-figure rarities. I also believe that this is the strongest and most diverse offering of United States coins and exonumia that we have featured in some time.  As usual, I expect fresh, low pop, CAC approved and generally high quality coins to perform well and attract tremendous interest.

In addition, we also have some exciting collections and individual rarities in the pipeline for our NYINC Auction (including the soon to be announced Eldorado Collection) and our Spring Baltimore Auction.  If you are still building your collection, great opportunities are forthcoming.  If you are considering selling duplicates or your entire collection, the market is strong for choice, fresh material and I suggest you give us a call.

I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best,
