The World Currency department at Stack’s Bowers Galleries is eagerly anticipating the most well attended World Banknote show of the year, the Maastricht Spring Paper Money Fair taking place April 24th to the 26th. We always enjoy conversing with collectors and dealers in the beautiful small town of Valkenburg. This show is always a great opportunity to develop client relationships and secure future consignments for our auctions. All the major dealers and collectors attend this show and it is always the perfect venue to discuss collectible currency from the world over. It is also a barometer for the current state of the market, which typically becomes clear for the rest of the year at the conclusion of the event. We will be set up at table A-13 in the theater hall, so come by and say hello if you attend the show!
