Betts-9 is a 67 mm large cast silver medal that maps out the course taken by Sir Francis Drake through the use of the dotted line. The medal includes his date of departure, 1577, and the date of his return, 1580. The medal is designed incuse so that it appears to be engraved. The medal was designed by Michael Mercator.
