On the obverse of this medal, we see a crude armored bust of Charles III facing the right. The reverse shows Arms of Veracruz, which is a castle in the center with three towers. The mold for casting was made by altering a 1760 Veracrus medal, Grove-K-66, and including the addition of "ZAB ALETA" flanking the castle on the reverse.
The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the January 2015 NYINC Auction, where it realized $1,527.
