The obverse of this silver Betts medal shows the bust of Charles III facing the right with text closely wrapped around him. The outer border is corded in appearance. On the reverse of the medal are the Arms of Hispaniola, which show two lions facing inward to either side of a crowned scepter. The inscription is listed above the crown.
The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the January 2006 Auction, where it realized $8,050.
