EdgeL Lettered "+ CONSIDERATE LILIA • NEC SALOMON IN OMNI GLORIA SUA •"

On the obverse we see a bust of Charles III wearing the Order of the Golden Fleece. The reverse shows the Arms of the Consulate of Mexico. The edge lettering of "CONSIDERATE LILIA, NEC SALOMON IN OMNI GLORIA SUA" translates to "Think of the lily. Not even Solomon is in all his glory..." This medal uses the same dies as Betts-482, but adds in the edge lettering.
