The obverse of this medal features an armored and draped bust of Charles III facing the right with inscriptions surrounding. On the reverse is the crowned Arms of the Cosulado. The shield features three lilies in a vase to the left and the five wounds of St. Francis to the right. Surrounding the shield are laurel and palm branches. A crown sits atop the shield.
The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the January 2015 NYINC Auction, where it realized $793.
