On the obverse, we see an armored draped bust of Charles III facing the right. The reverse shows the Arms of Mexico City in an ornamented frame. The Arms are comprised of an imperial eagle at the top, flanked by two lions and foliage on the sides. This medal was cast in a crude manner so most examples will lack detail.
The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the January 2022 NYINC Auction, where it realized $3,120.
