The second year 1937 is also the second rarest Proof Mercury dime, from a mintage of 5,756 pieces. Unlike the 1936, the 1937 can be found in PR-68 without too much difficulty. While they are not common, they do appear fairly regularly at major auctions.

The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the Spring 2024 Showcase Auction, where it realized $1,440.
