1935-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar
The 1935-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar ranks as an important condition rarity at the MS-66+ level. PCGS has assigned this grade on just four occasions, with none finer. The '35-D is one of the more conditionally challenging Walkers from the 1930s. Writing in the 2008 book Collecting & Investing Strategies for Walking Liberty Half Dollars, Jeff Ambio establishes the 1935-D as the rarest Denver Mint issue in the middle portion (read: 1934-1940) of this series.
