Ranking 10th in overall Mint State rarity among the 65 issues in this series (per Jeff Ambio, Collecting & Investing Strategies for Walking Liberty Half Dollars, 2008), the 1920-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar is an important find even in the MS-60 to MS-64 grade range. While the issue is not as rare as the 1919-D, it is more challenging to locate in Gem Mint State than the 1917-D Obverse Mintmark, 1928-S, and even the lower mintage 1919.
