1919 Walking Liberty Half Dollar
Instantly recognizable as a key date issue, the 1919 Walking Liberty Half Dollar has one of the lowest mintages in the Walking Liberty half dollar series with just 962,000 coins struck. It is ninth rarest in Mint State of the 26 issues between 1916 and 1933, ranking behind only the 1921-S, 1919-S, 1919-D, 1921-D, 1920-D, 1917-S Obverse Mintmark, 1921 and 1923-S. Gems are in the distinct minority among survivors.
