1807 dimes are the most widely available issue of this design type, frequently seen in major auctions even in high grade. Gems are rarities, though, in particular ones with original color and old surfaces.

The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the D. Brent Pogue Part I Auction, where it realized $76,375.
