The world and ancients division of Stacks Bowers Galleries presented over 1,300 lots of ancient and world coins and paper money, as well as an Internet-only session that contained more than 700 lots of ancient and world coins and paper money. The sale featured coins from the Demarete Collection, the Madeleine Collection, and much more, and included a plethora of highlights and significant results.

Grand Re-Opening of Historic New York City Institution

The highlight of the night was the coveted 1873-CC No Arrows Liberty Seated dime, which sold for a record $1.84 million USD the most expensive dime ever sold at auction.
