All prices realized include a 17.5%buyers premium. As could be expected, truly rare notes performed well with anumber of census and condition rarities selling well within or above theirestimate ranges.

Eliasberg Gold Shines Brightly at the Stacks Bowers Galleries August 2016 ANA U.S. Coins Auction

Eventhree and a half decades after the original dispersal of his incredible goldcoin collection, Louis E Eliasberg, Sr. was the champion at the Stacks BowersAugust 2016 Official Auction of the ANA Worlds Fair of Money. The UnitedStates coins realized over $13.1 million as part of the overall Stacks BowersGalleries ANA auction, which in total brought over $21 million.
