Stacks Bowers and Ponterio, the foreign and ancients division of auction powerhouse Stacks Bowers Galleries, is once again gearing up to sell world and ancient coins and paper money at public auction in November. Ancient and foreign coins will feature a number of important pieces and collections, including the David OHarrow Collection of Mexican coins. This impressive auction will also include an excellent section of Canadian coinage, among other notable sections.
Paper money scarcities and rarities, especially in the National Bank Note series, will highlight a special section of the Stacks Bowers Galleries Official Auction of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Baltimore Expo, Thursday and Friday, November 78, 2013. The currency will be part of an auction program that also includes colonial coins featuring The David M. Sundman Collection of Massachusetts Silver Coinage, federal coins from half cents to double eagles, Proof gold rarities, and more.
The magnificent collection of Massachusetts silver coins assembled by David M. Sundman will cross the block in a sale conducted by Stacks Bowers Galleries in cooperation with the Colonial Coin Collectors Club (C4) in Baltimore. This sale will be held in conjunction with the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Expo at the Convention Center, November 410, 2013. During the Expo, the annual C4 meeting will take place with special presentations, camaraderie, and more, making this a focal point for specialists.
