What a fun week we had at the FUN Convention, if you will forgive the pun. It was wonderful seeing old friends and making a few new ones along the way. 2023 has started with tremendous enthusiasm in the hobby from collectors and dealers alike, which kept everyone in high spirits during the show.
Shown above are some of Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ hard-working staff at the convention. At left are Adem Karisik and Julie Abrams at the SBG table. Adem is our new world paper money expert and Julie works with dealers and collectors on consignments to our upcoming auctions. Kevin Vinton (at right) was busy answering questions about our continuing offering of the Syd Martin Collection, especially the sales coming up in 2023. Monica, shown at center, is the unsung hero of our team. She writes the checks and logs in the inventory we acquire during conventions, a very difficult task she manages with that terrific smile. Now many of us are off to the New York International Numismatic Convention in the Big Apple this week. Stop by to see us in you are in the area.
