January is a busy month here at Stack’s Bowers Galleries! We have divided the team between our New York International Numismatic Convention Auction and the Florida United Numismatists Convention.
Our official auction of the January 2015 New York International Numismatic Convention is taking place January 9-10 in New York City at the Waldorf Astoria hotel, and on January 12 in the Stack’s Bowers Auction Gallery at 110 West 57th Street. The entire auction is online now for viewing and bidding. We will also be set up at Table S23 at the New York International Numismatic Convention with a great selection of world coins and paper money and ancient coins.
Meanwhile staff members will be headed to Florida to start the New Year at the Florida United Numismatists convention. The show opens to the public on Thursday, January 8 at 10 AM, and continues through the weekend. For specific show details visit the official show website at funtopics.com.
Come visit with us at the FUN show at Tables 1509, 1511, 1513, 1608, 1610! We will have a huge display of upcoming auction highlights, including selections from The Henry P. Kendall Foundation, The Stephen Winthrop Collection, The Holecek Family Foundation and more. We will also be accepting consignments for our exciting 2015 auction schedule. Our first deadline is January 10th, for our official auction of the American Numismatic Association’s National Money Show in Portland, Oregon. Come by our table to find out about generous cash advances and favorable auction rates. We’ll have many of our industry leading experts on hand to assist you with your numismatic needs — Chris Napolitano, Christine Karstedt, Peter Treglia, Gene Nesheim and Amandeep Jassal, just to name a few!
We wish you a happy and healthy New Year.
