Did You Know That Stack’s Bowers Galleries is Launching its Professional Numismatist Program This Summer?

Young professionals interested in a numismatic career take note! Stack’s Bowers Galleries is launching the Professional Numismatist Program, a weeklong expenses paid numismatic professional development course hosted at our Costa Mesa, California headquarters and taught by members of our world-renowned numismatic staff. The program, which will run from July 30 to August 5, 2023, includes a core curriculum with courses on:

• Advanced Coin Grading

• Numismatic Wholesale Trading and Valuation

• Bullion Trading

• Introduction to World and Ancient Numismatics

Available electives include:

• Auction Cataloging

• Numismatic Marketing

• Introduction to US and World Paper Money

• Coin Photography

• The Art of Auctioneering

Devin Hipp will serve as the lead instructor. Greg Roberts, Jason Carter, Matt Orsini, John Pack, Rick Ponterio, and Vicken Yegparian, among others, will also participate as instructors. Stack’s Bowers Galleries will cover all costs related to the program for accepted applicants.

Successful students may be offered internships or paid positions with Stack’s Bowers Galleries upon completion of the program.
