Best Exonumia Auction Catalog – The E. Pluribus Unum Collection Part III
We are honored to have been chosen to sell the E Pluribus Unum Collection, a multi-generational cabinet formed with connoisseurship and a curator’s eye for history. The third installment of this series showcased Betts medals, Washingtoniana, Indian Peace medals, Bolen medals and colonial coin copies and was presented in November 2021. We are thrilled with the recognition bestowed by the NLG for the quality of the cataloging, photography and graphic presentation showcased in this catalog.
Best Specialized Books – United States or Related Coins
No surprise here. Q. David Bowers once again took home the honors for A Guide Book of Quarter Eagle Gold Coins published by our friends at Whitman Publishing. It was released to rave reviews by collectors, dealers and bibliophiles alike. Congratulations, Dave!
Best Specialized Books – Tokens and Medals:
Numismatic Commemorations of the 200th Birthday of George Washington in 1932 by Sydney F. Martin, published by the American Numismatic Society, was especially deserving of this award. Syd loved research as much as he loved collecting itself, and this work is a tribute to both of those pursuits.
The Ribbit
This award recognizes an individual who has achieved prominence in numismatics while maintaining approachability, a sense of humor and essential modesty. We congratulate John Kraljevich as the 2022 recipient of The Ribbit. It feels like our team has worked with John (JK) since he was a teenager and over those years, his numismatic and personal accomplishments grew in a very impressive and inspiring manner. We love him! Congratulations, JK!
